It is definitely maple syrup, just with a kick. It is slightly more viscus than a dark maple syrup.
Ironically, pancakes are one of the few things that Spicy Maple Syrup doesn't pair particularly well with.

Its a bit spicier than a jalapeno. However spice lovers can double up to really turn up the heat.

Spicy Maple starts with sweet maple flavour and is followed by the heat of peppers.
